Free Agent is a free news reader that is available at www.forteinc.com.

When Free Agent is first installed it runs a wizard that configures the program for you. The wizard will ask you for: Your name e-mail address SMTP server: mx.seanet.com news server: news.seanet.com

To Check Existing Settings

Click on the Options menu and choose General Preferences.

• E-mail address
• Name as you want it to appear when you post to newsgroups.
  
• Check Server requires authorization login. Enter your User Name including the domain (username@seanet.com). Then enter your Password.

• News Server news.seanet.com
• E-mail Server mx.seanet.com

Showing All the Groups and Subscribing to Groups

To Show All Groups, click on the Group menu and choose Show then All.

To Subscribe to a group, highlight the group, click on the Group menu and choose Subscribe.
