Residential Counselor, graveyard shift
Cares for severely emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children, ages
6 to 12, in a residential treatment facility. Must check on children frequently while they
sleep, tend to those who occasionally awaken due to nightmares, do light laundry and
filing. Hours are 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Essential job requirements:
- Commitment to the vision, values and mission of Ryther Child Center
- 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science preferred, or high school education with
at least four years combination of experience and training working with children, youth,
and families in residential or home-based programs
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain customer and employee confidentiality
- Valid Washington state driver’s license
