Remembering Statistics
A Refresher Course in Basic Statistics

During the first day of this workshop, Leska will present familiar statistical tests such as t-tests, paired tests, correlation, regression, ANOVA and BACI. We will identify the underlying assumptions that cannot be ignored for these tests and also discuss when to use parametric vs. non-parametric tests. Using example data sets, we will practice choosing the appropriate statistical test to get the correct answer to a question. During the second half-day we will look at real data sets brought in by the participants. We will apply what we learned on the first day by selecting the appropriate statistical test for these real-life situations. Leska uses an interactive teaching style to present complex information in different ways because she understands that people have different learning styles. Cost $295 (maximum 25 people).
