"And, we need a fire-breathing dragon."
This is not that unusual a request - for theatre.
I've been involved with live productions since the seventh grade.
It all started because I had a crush on a girl whose mother
directed the school play. And I thought, if - well, perhaps, maybe...
Theatre is a wonderfully collaborative work environment, it needs
the talents of a lot of very creative and skilled people to pull
off what we are asked to do. I often say "we steal from everyone"
- but in a good way.
To acomplish what I'm asked, I've had to drawn on knowlege from my
work in areas outside of theatre; SCUBA diving equipment repair,
salmon cannery machinist, carpenter, welder and others.
I have been described, in a recent job interview, as having an "unusual
skill set," and with this website, I hope to show that to you.
